Welcome!

I believe that everybody and every body has a right to the benefits of yoga. New and experienced students can expect safe, thoughtful sequencing that creates space in the body and space to breathe and be. With a focus on self-care and understanding yoga to be a vehicle for wellness and healing, I weave mindfulness, breath work, and meditation into my classes.

Let me support your yoga journey!

A Little About Me

I came to yoga seeking a better understanding of my place in the world and in search of work/life and emotional balance. After years of saying, "I should try yoga sometime" I found myself at 40 and experiencing anxiety for the first time; I needed a Xanax just to walk into my first yoga class. I continue to practice for the opportunity it gives me to breathe, to center, to reflect, and to just be. My time on the mat has increased my mindfulness off it. I also just feel really good physically after I practice. I've had sciatica and lumbar spine issues most of my life but these have improved so much I feel like I've been gifted a new body and no longer worry that I'll throw my back out if I sneeze too hard.

I completed my 200-hour Integrative Yoga Therapy teacher training at Inner Light Yoga Studios in Wauwatosa, WI in 2017. I’ve taken additional training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, holistic stress management, and am a Reiki Master Practitioner. A Certified Health Education Specialist, I evaluate public health and social service programs by day. I'm mom to 3 fur-kids and enjoy traveling, any time spent at the beach, brunch with friends, road trips with my beau, and creating whether it be in the garden, kitchen, or craft room.

I'm looking forward to practicing with you and sharing your yoga journey.
